The “smart” revolution keeps improving the automotive experience. One of the new features is adaptive cruise control. Adaptive cruise control keeps the basics of “normal” cruise control in that there is a desired speed. The latest and greatest of adaptive cruise control also slows down your car based on the car in front of you. If the car in front of you is driving slower than your car, the adaptive cruise control will sense this and slow down. If the car in front of you brakes, the adaptive cruise control will react quicker than the average person’s reflexes to bring the vehicle to a stop.
